Avec Songes, ma nouvelle exposition, je reviens à l’exaltation de mes débuts, c’est-à-dire à la technique de la peinture à l’huile pour la vivacité des couleurs et au dessin pour la pureté de la ligne.
Mes personnages possèdent un point commun: la force du regard par lequel je veux sonder leur âme. Il existe quelque part en nous, une lumière qui se reflète sur notre visage et qui irradie notre être. C’est cette parcelle de vérité que je tente de surprendre.

With Moving Inward, I return to the joy of my beginnings- painting with oils- exalting in the intensity of the medium and the freedom of the vivid colors.
All the people in the painting transmit their inner light through their vulnerability and their inner reflection. I wanted to capture this intimate moment where the soul is revealed in the expression and demeanor of the face, the eyes, the hands, and to reveal the true essence of the spirit in the physical
